What If… ? Season 2 (Late December 2023)

The first animated show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) is coming back for another season in late 2023. They told us about this at the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con. In this new season, you’ll see characters from different versions of the MCU, like Captain Carter, Steve Rogers as Iron Man, Black Widow, Hela from Thor: Ragnarok, Young Star-Lord and Ego, The Scarlet Witch, Mandarin, and more. They even gave us a sneak peek where Thanos fights Captain America from Infinity War.

In a surprising twist, they also showed that a part of the story will happen in the year 1602. This is like a tip of the hat to a comic series called Marvel 1602 from 2003, which was written by Neil Gaiman. It’s a story where Marvel superheroes exist in the time of Queen Elizabeth I, including characters like Nick Fury, X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and others.

Originally, Season 2 was supposed to be one of the first things from the MCU in 2023, but now they haven’t given us an exact date. It looks like they’ve moved it to the end of 2023.
